This call is opening soon for Fellowships for women from eligible low- or middle-income countries! The call is opening 1 Sep so it looks like the 2026 list of eligible countries is not available yet.

It would be fantastic to see applicants in Engineering Biology or the intersection of biology with physical/computational/mathematical sciences.

This year, we are particularly keen to see applications from the following academic disciplines: Physical Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics.

To apply, you must:

  • Be a woman from an eligible low- or middle-income country.
  • Be pursuing a PhD or post-doctoral research in a STEM field.
  • Be enrolled, admitted, or have applied to a university or research institute abroad.
  • Have an excellent academic record.
  • Be committed to returning to your home country to contribute to its socio-economic development.
  • Demonstrate leadership, community engagement, and a track record of encouraging women and girls in STEM.

Application Timeline

  • Opening Date: September 1, 2025
  • Application Deadline: November 7, 2025
  • Notification of Results: Early April 2026
