The deadline for applications is this Friday, so it would be awesome if you can share this information with all your members! *EMBO Practical Course | AI for Protein Design (AI4PD)* *03 - 09 Noviembre, Puerto Varas, Chile* The Latin American Workshop on AI for Protein Design (AI4PD) will bring together experts in computational protein engineering and design from academia and industry, with the aim of *training students and postdocs with limited prior experience in this field* and for which learning this tools can have a positive impact in their current and future research. This training will be delivered through keynote lectures by renowned scientists working on computational protein engineering and design using AI, followed by hands-on training for all attendees via tutorials on AI-based tools such as AlphaFold2, RoseTTAFold, RFDiffusion, ProteinMPNN, Frame2seq and others. This training will be completed with a Hackathon, in which the attendees will gain prowess in the use of these tools for designing their own proteins. In this way, this EMBO practical course will enable attendees to implement these AI tools as a routine component of their protein engineering and design campaigns. *Why you should **apply to be selected to attend?* - Zero registration fee for the selected students/postdocs!
